The Body & the Void
CONCEPTUAL EDITORIAL DESIGN USING SYMBOLIC HAND GESTURES
About the Project:
The Body and the Void is a speculative narrative project that merges storytelling, poetry, and visual design to explore humanity’s relationship with the cosmos and the consequences of unchecked greed. Framed as a dream, the story imagines a future where Earth’s collapse drives humanity to claim celestial bodies—only to confront forces far greater than itself. The poetic interludes represent the inner, emotional state of the dreamer, while the narrative reveals the fictional reality of that dream.
Through restrained typography, symbolic hand gestures, layered cosmic visuals, and an AR portal that places Earth as a fragile speck in the universe, the project invites reflection on balance, responsibility, and coexistence. Ultimately, it serves as a cautionary meditation — urging readers to recognize Earth not as a resource to dominate, but as a living body we must collectively protect.

GUARDIANS OF THE COSMOS
Mars raged with storms
of wrath untold,
A fury fierce, a power bold.
Its winds declared,
with violent might,
“You’ll not conquer
what’s not your right.”

What had humanity dared to ignite,
In a cosmos bound by laws of light?
To reshape worlds,
to make them thrive,
They sought to keep
their race alive.
But ancient forces
began to wake,
Guardians of balance,
lives at stake.

Did they see the signs, the warnings clear? That not all realms should draw us near?
